Our 5 Most Used Home Gadgets

We all have those things in our home that we use over and over and over again. They are tried and true and never let us down! We have a few that we use consistently and I will never not have them in our home again! They are convenient, handy and make my life easier!

1.Pura

We have had our Pura for a couple months now, and let me just say, it's amazing. We use it daily and it really does make our house smell amazing. We have it plugged in in our dining room which is near both entrances to our home. When you walk in, you immediately want to take a deep breath and take it all in. We currently have the scent "volcano", but there are seriously so many amazing scents to choose from! You turn it on and off from your phone and you can even adjust the amount that comes out of it so it's not too overwhelming.

2. Salad Spinner

I use our salad spinner regularly. I don't like lettuce that is already chopped so whenever I need to wash the lettuce, this is my go to. It's easy to use, cleans easily and stores really well. It's pretty gross the amount of yuck that comes off your lettuce, so I always spin twice. It's really one of my favorite kitchen tools.

3. Alexa

I was really against having an Alexa for a long time because I didn't like the idea of a computer listening to me at all times and having a camera on me at all times. I installed her and I honestly love her. I turned the camera off by sliding the little white shield over the lens. I love that it has that feature. Even if I wanted the lens open, I honestly don't think we would use it much anyways. I love the facts that I can ask her to play music, or answer math problems or set timers. She's pretty handy and super easy to use.

4. Sound Machine

Our sound machine. I love it. It's nothing fancy and doesn't play anything except for white noise, but it's perfect. It has an on and off switch and you can adjust the higher or lower setting depending on how loud you want it. Once it's on, you can spin it and it adjusts the volume even more. We use to block outside noise, but we've gotten used to having it in general. We also have Jax. He barks at anything and everything he hears outside. The we're gone, we can't control his barking. We had the thought of using the sound machine in the living room so that it muffles some of the outside noise. Hopefully that will lessen his barking and he won't bother the neighbors as much. I'll get back to you on our thoughts on using it that way!

5. Nespresso Machine

We love our coffee and our Nespresso machine is our favorite coffee maker yet. It's something we use every morning. We have only tried a few flavors that we weren't crazy about, but we love most every one we try. It's easy to clean, it's quiet and it's so easy to order more capsules. We've gone through several coffee machines and this is by far our favorite!
